So here’s the plan.
Just back from work+training, and my silence starts now. I will only break silence Thursday evening, when I go for the next Wing Tsun training.
Tonight I sleep on the deck again, to make sure I can handle sleeping outside. Tomorrow I spend sitting around the city, just listening and watching. Come home in the evening, sleep on deck. Stay home on Wednesday, but sleep on a park bench that night. Come home Thursday morning, go training in the evening.
For the next three days, am going to try and listen. No speaking unless spoken directly to, no status messages, no tweets, just this once-a-day blog post. I desperately need to listen to understand, and not listen to respond. I hope this will improve my relationship with Dee, my relationship with this city, and maybe my relationship with myself.
If nothing else, it will improve my Wing Tsun.
